Key Features
Lightspeed Protocol
ExpressVPN's proprietary protocol delivers faster speeds than WireGuard on most connections.
TrustedServer Technology
All servers run on RAM only — no data is ever written to a hard drive.
Network Lock Kill Switch
Automatically blocks all internet traffic if the VPN connection drops unexpectedly.
Split Tunneling
Choose which apps use the VPN and which connect directly to the internet.
Our Verdict
ExpressVPN is the right choice if speed is your top priority — it's the fastest VPN we've tested by a meaningful margin. The price is higher than competitors, but if you stream 4K video or game online, the performance difference is worth it.
