Key Features
Real-Time Malware Scanning
Continuously monitors apps and files for malware — included in the free plan, unlike most competitors.
Anti-Theft (Free)
Remotely lock, wipe, and locate your device — available in the free plan without a subscription.
Call & SMS Blocking
Blocks calls and texts from known scam numbers using Kaspersky's threat intelligence database.
App Lock
Protects sensitive apps (banking, email, social media) with a PIN or fingerprint so they can't be opened if your phone is accessed.
Our Verdict
Kaspersky Mobile Security delivers some of the best malware detection rates available on Android, and its free plan is unusually generous — including real-time scanning and anti-theft tools that competitors charge for. The ongoing concerns about Kaspersky's Russian origins are worth noting for users in sensitive positions, but for most consumers the detection performance is hard to match at any price.
